Happy new year, folks! What a great year this has already been! Late last year I stuck the story Bicycle Man from my novel Icon's Request onto kindle as a separate download and this week it reached number 3 in the kindle crime bestsellers list! My 36 poetry collection Deny Your Anchor is also available on kindle right now! It's a bargain

My next signing is coming up on 3rd February in Chorley at the Lancaster Suite, as part of Vibrant Vintage fairs. Come along and say hello! I'm then at Midlands Comic Con on 16th Feb.

Meanwhile, my third novel A Matter of Dark is now available to Download on kindle etc, with the paperback back from the printers and ready to roll!

Fantastic time at Memorabilia Birmingham last weekend! Had a lovely time meeting new people, and a few chums off Twitter too! There's no rest for the wicked as I'm appearing this Sunday 2nd December at the Trencherfield Mill Christmas Gift Fair in Wigan. Come say hi!

So, book three is called A Matter of Dark and is shaping up to be quite spooky! More soon.

Had a great time at BristolCon on October 20th, despite a fire in the hotel in the middle of the night! New Longton Village Hall was also awesome this last Sunday.

I'm giving a book talk and reading in Gwersyllt Resource Centre in Wrexham this Friday from 2pm til 4pm, so hope to see some of you there! Goodness knows how it will go.

It was a delight to sign books in my home town of Wrexham yesterday at the MASSIVE Wales Comic Con. People were waiting for over 2 hours just to get in to see all the stars! Sorry to anyone who didn't get in. Check out my facebook and twitter for some piccies of me with some awesome celebs!

What a great event Manchester Comic Con was! Had a fantastic time, and met some cool people!

My signing in Whitchurch on 2nd September has had to be cancelled due to unforseen circumstances, but I have many more lined up including some new ones: Birmingham Memorabilia on 24th-25th November for one, as well as the Sci-Fi Weekender in North Wales in March 2013. I hope you all had a lovely Easter. I've had a great time, and have today been working on book three in the Peter Smith saga. Icon's Request is currently at the printers, and its official release date is 1st June. Paperback and kindle copies will be available before this, however. I have a signing coming up in Parbold Village Hall on Sunday 22nd April, so why not come along? I might have some early copies of Icon's Request!

I Am Dead has also been rising in the charts on kindle, partly thanks to an ad in SFX Magazine and a great review in Yattar Yattar magazine. If you still haven't read it, then all I can ask is... ARE YOU MAD?

I hope you all had an enjoyable Xmas and New Year. 2012 is really starting to roll and I hope you all have great things planned. I've got my second novel, Icon's Request, coming out on 1st June so I'll be busy sorting that out. In fact, only this morning I emailed the MS back to the publishers with the copy editor's amendments. It appears I underuse commas... criminally so!

Today marks another milestone. It appears I may have finished my dissertation for the MA English course... may have. More news on that as and when I get it!

Busy week coming up. Firstly, I'll be doing an interview on Calon FM radio (105FM) this coming Tuesday at 9am, then on Saturday 17th I'll be signing copies of I Am Dead at the RAFA Wings Club in Wrexham as part of the Limelight Christmas Fayre.

In other news, my next book Icon's Request is currently having its copy edit and I should be getting that back in about a week or two.

Hi all! I've had a busy time of it lately. I had a signing in Llandudno Waterstones on 10th September which was very successful. I met some great people and flogged a few books. This last Saturday, 8th October, I was invited to and attended an Authors Day and Book Fair at The Quay Hotel in Deganwy. Many thanks to author Jean Mead for organising the whole do. Very enjoyable. This was my first 'proper' socialising with other authors, which was fascinating in itself... not the cut-throat hate-oozing kind of experience you might think. We all got on like a house on fire. Hope everyone who's bought I Am Dead so far has enjoyed reading it. Book two is nearly finished and will be on its way next year. Watch this space!
